Reading this fic again led me to wonder whether the birthmark isn't (as some are) three-dimensional (i.e., has a thickness) so that Blythe can actually feel it :). In other words, House could have been legitimate if only John had agreed to a few simple piercings.

Thanks for publishing this, it makes at least as much sense as canon and is way funnier. I'm unfortunately rather inclined to believe that tptb just didn't think that much (and judging by promos) they feel we haven't gotten enough out of the "guess who's a/the father" plotline.
