This fic does bring home all the reality of what transpired between them during that chemo treatment. A nice missing (of necessity) scene that further illustrates their connection. I like how you show that it can be just as strong with no slash or history of such. Sometimes I forget that their relationship could be just as strong WITHOUT any slash - lol.
