This chapter didn't work for me. House was an addict, but he was also in terrible pain. Many chronic pain patients were enraged by that plot line. I like that you are trying to make sense of it, but still...

Also people not being sorry for Cuddy? Not getting sympathy for having her house destroyed and her and Rachel' s life endangered? That seems, to me, so very wrong. YMMV.
