I totally felt with Wilson on that one - the costume is in exceedingly bad taste. It's one thing to condemn what House did; it's another to ridicule what he is going through. And as quite a few people have remarked, there's remarkably little hue and cry when House returns to PPTH, so the people who are making fun of him now are not brave enough to air their opinion of him to his face (or to Foreman's).

I very much like the House passage that deals with the crash. It doesn't deny the emotional impact of the sequence of events that set him off, but it also illustrates very clearly how emotionally crippled and culpable he was for doing what he did. It gives me closure to have House understand what he did and feel true remorse for it, in a way the show couldn't do and didn't even attempt to do.
