I'm not so sure whether Wilson has learnt much of anything, though, other than that he can't function without House. (This is my interpretation, knowing that he ignored House the entire time he was in prison, but came around after socking House on the jaw. Nothing was clarified, no boundaries were drawn - it was back to the old routine. Wilson would have done better not to have abandoned House, but to have drawn a clear line between the person and his deeds. Like this, the message is, 'House, you can be as outrageous as you like. If you sit it out and let me pummel you, it'll always be okay.")
