Okay, I just have to share this because it's so ironic.

So, there's a hurt/comfort bingo community that's running a mini challenge in February where you sign up and get three prompts that you have to work into the one story. So I thought, okay, I can do that.  And I'm feeling a bit burnt out after writing three long slave AU fics back to back as tailkinker_au. This might be a good excuse to write some nice illness/injury and a bit of comfort for the guys. Some old school H/W as it were.


So I asked for a card and this is what I got.

It just made me laugh :)

Although I must admit it does give me ideas....

I'll probably not end up doing anything for it but a Mirrorverse thing is an idea. The combat part is tripping me up a little, can't see either of the guys as gladiators :)

Well, they needn't have much of a choice. They could be pitted against trained gladiators or wild animals (much as early Christian martyrs in ancient Rome) for, ummm, disobeying orders while saving a life? (Doesn't sound like House, does it :) )

Heh, no, just a bit manipulative: if I throw in enough good ideas, maybe I'll get a Mirrorverse fic :) Once upon a time an icon I made in a fit of misplaced creativity got me a multi chapter Sharkverse fic; since then I've never given up the hope that a bit of timely manipulation will get me what I want.

I always love it when people use prompt words in really odd and unexpected ways (ie. like getting the prompt word "date" and it using it being the fruit.;))

That's an idea. I think the rules indicate that the prompt should be a major part of the story but we all know House doesn't care much about rules ;)

I also thought Wilson might have some particularly wild dreams/nightmares, maybe while he is feverish because we all love some nekkid feverish Wilson :)
