I so hope justjuly's right (and wish her happy birthday too). Wilson dying with three episodes to go seems a bit too much. And Wilson having cancer and then being well again one episode seems shallow. We'll see.

I really have no idea what's going to happen I must admit. I keep changing my mind :) Ah well, find out tomorrow - must remember not to check my flist before I have a chance to see the episode :)

I don't think he's going to die in THIS episode (they don't want to end the suspense / drama immediately) ... or at least I don't think they will REVEAL that he has died this soon. But I am very scared that he WILL DIE before the final episode - because of HL's SPOILER comment that in the "final moment" of the finale 'House has to decide whether he wants to live or to die'. I can't see House being that despondent UNLESS Wilson has died. But all the information they are putting out in the way of interviews etc. is VERY contradictory, so it might all just be hype and really I have no idea.

Depending on the hour of the day, I keep changing my mind. The three top contenders are: not cured;not dead, coma guy after the experimental treatment goes wrong, and the miracle cure.

What I would like to see is nc;nd. Based on House's self-surgery, Chase's paralysis, Cuddy's surgery, Thirteen's blindness, Foreman's brain damage, and Wilson's liver donation, I fear Wilson will be fully cured by 8x20. I hope not.

I think maybe that 'House has to decide whether he wants to live or die' refers to maybe a more long term thing, like he knows that the path he is on, with the addiction, and the risk taking etc will lead to a shortened life, so he has to decide between that and really embracing life. Possibly standing there with a bottle of Vicodin in his hand, deciding whether to toss them or to take one. Or at the door of a rehab centre. Or maybe, to be wildly optimistic, deciding whether to try and pursue anything with Wilson or not :)

Yeah I keep changing my mind too, I made the poll and then realised I didn't know what to answer myself :)

You have a point about the short lived medical conditions on the show (and there's also Thirteen being deadly sick after the hostage drama, and House electrocuting himself). Maybe there will be a bit of a time skip somewhere along the way in these episodes...

Actually, I'd be ok with the old miracle cure thing if they do it quickly. My big worry is that this will be yet another mediocre filler episode where nothing important happens or is said, and the dramatic scene in the promo will literally be the last minute of the episode (again) with a cliff-hanger ending to build anticipation (and network ratings) for NEXT week. Sorry to be so cynical, but I'm afraid to trust them at all these days. I just hope that if Wilson DOES DIE -- it will be in this episode and not drawn out for the whole final arc with a vain hope and a still tragic ending. That would be unnecessarily cruel to the fans, imho. But I'm still hoping he won't die ... and I keep reminding myself that promos ALWAYS lie. So I guess we'll find out in about two hours now.
