I have a hard time with Blythe, because to me they've given her two completely contradictory perosnalities on the show - I prefer the first one so that's what's coming through here. I can't see her as someone who is completely unconcerned about her child's welfare, just someone who really has no clue what to do about it - more oblivious than callous.
Of course any mother who doesn't go and visit their only child when he is jail...
As I said - I have a hard time with Blythe, maybe I should have left her out, but truthfully I was running out of ideas for the out-of-jail segments at this point :)
(Also, I totally have this whole back fic for Blythe when she founds out what House has done, not through the police blotter, but through the cops turning up on her doorstep looking for him.)
