Pan-fandom Fests

If anyone is looking for prompts for inspiration there are two pan-fandom fest things going on at the moment.

dark_fest is at the claiming prompts stage with prompt claiming open until 14th February. There are some House prompts here or some 'any fandom' ones here.

Porn Battle is on this week, with posting until 13th February (you don't need to claim prompts). Lots of House prompts there, including a healthy representation for House/Wilson. Prompts are here.

If anyone knows of any other fests going on please feel free to mention in the comments, House always seems to be woefully under-represented in these things.

Wow. Definitely some interest prompts in both dark fest and in the Porn Battle. I'll look forward to reading them! (Sorry, I'm unsure of any others. There was a porn/kink fest awhile back at greglovesjimmy during the summer hiatus...There's going to be a hiatus in March so perhaps you can suggest one at greglovesjimmy, house_wilson, or both! ;) )

But honestly, how many of us H/W fans haven't wished that Wilson would just somehow mange to wrangle control of House. Even if only for a day or so. Or maybe that is just my own little kink thing?

well, I wouldn't want *that* Wilson in control in real life that's for sure :) But I think there might be some sort of middle ground to be had, after all Wilson did say he was 'in charge of their relationship' :)

I hadn't thought of that, because of course in the top-to-bottom universe there's no Amber, no Mayfield and no Huddy - so in particular no prison. But yes, a top-to-bottom relationship developing after prison would be perfect. Another good model (with roles reversed) would be H/W discipline relation by christykat, focusingon discipline rather than on sex.

I'm thinking not even necessarily discipline (though I'm not you know, opposed to that). More like Wilson controls his medication, gets him to stop drinking, gets him into work at a decent hour, takes him to physical therapy/alternative pain managment for his leg, gets him to see a therapist, makes sure he eats healthy etc. Now why House agrees to this is trickier. Maybe he's really vulnerable when he comes out of prison and at a low point in his life, afraid of losing Wilson and just lets him take over for a while.

A darker twist to this could be that the reason House is so vulnerable is whatever happened to him in prison to make him so, and an ever darker twist would be if Wilson *knew* that he was damaged by being in prison but takes advantage of it, although he is firmly convinced that it is for House's own good.

Have you read this fic and its many sequels? It was fairly controversial, and starts out non-consensual and dark Wilson but softens into BDSM as it goes along.

Not that I've thought about any of this or anything :)

Yes, I have read the story you link. I may even have read it more than once. Ahem.

This is a very interesting viewpoint. BTW, christikat's discipline, while involving occasional spanking, is mostly about making sure Wilson works reasonable hours and eats properly, so not so far from your idea - except of course House needs it more than Wilson does.

The idea of House accepting to do what he's told as a consequence of what happened in prison seems a perfect (if dark) motivation. Wilson being aware of it from the start and still doing it seems a bit excessive in the dark!wilson direction, though; how about him finding out after a while, once he knows that the system WORKS (with House healthier than ever) and perhaps that both of them enjoy the occasional discipline?

Thatl Wilson would do anything for House is canon I think, were anything includes giving up his job, lending 5K dollars withno clear hope of seeing them again, or the whole Tritter arc (including his betrayal, which was rightly pictured as yet another way of protecting House from himself, eventhough onewho had theadvatage of returning Wilson's life to normal). So it makes sense he'd be willing to take control of his life, and only as an unimportant side effect enjoy it himself :).
