"Ah, the prodigal son returns... again." House says, smirking. "Back so soon, Skippy?"

"Come to sunny bloody Australia, they say. It rained every day I was there. So much for summer days on the beach and cricket in the park." Chase catches sight of Adams' arm.

"How did that happen?"

"Psychotic patient, luckily Park was in there, she laid the guy out with one punch." Adams demonstrates, looking at Park with admiration.

Chase scowls at House, he doesn't know what happened but it must have been House's fault.

"And what the hell happened to Taub's hair?"

LOL at Park's punching and the Adams/Park dynamics. And we all understand what a stress it is for you Chase to have such a rotten summer ;).

Sadly, this seems to be the main idea of the show writers as well (I still am trying to wrap my head around how Amber's demise could possibly be House's fault).

Actually that one, I can see Wilson blaming House for that in his grief. Like 'if you hadn't done this than that wouldn't have happened and Amber wouldn't have been on the bus', it's not really very fair but people do have a tendency to look for blame when something tragic happens IMO. But if the show writers, any other characters, say that it is House's fault yeah, that would be wrong.

Of course Cameron blamed House for being shot ('you were shot because you're an ass') so....

OT - The thing I can't get over is all this 'House stole the dead guys pills' because um... it wasn't like the dead guy was going to use them? (yes, I know that was five seasons ago and I should get over it, but it comes up all the time in fics)

I find it reasonable for Wilson in his immediate grief to blame House, but I had a feeling that the show made it clear that House deserved blame. If nothing else because no one marches Wilson to a psychotherapist/psychiatrist to help him see sense instead of allowing him to vanish for weeks.

I know that was five seasons ago
Look, I'm still not getting over the Tritter arc, or Wilson talking Cuddy into not teling House that he saved a patient. Even without fanfic as an excuse.

Plus, you are of course right. Who cares? Certainly not the patient, or his widow.

Hahahaha brilliant!! "And what the hell happened to Taub's hair?" *shudders* I'm actually relieved Wilson didn't pop up in that episode then, I don't wanna picture him the victim of such a prank lol. Loved this!
