Rec for a fic where Wilson isn't dying

If you like a good long read, aren't allergic to the idea of some House/Cuddy, and would like a break from Wilson has Cancer for a while I can thoroughly recommend The Kelpie by readingrat. The story is finished and the last part has just been posted so it's a great time to read it, no waiting!

The story goes AU from the end of Moving On and involves a different view and outcome of the crash and a House who has taken extreme measures to forget what happened. There is some Huddy, but there is also a lot of House/Wilson/Cuddy friendship, sick!Wilson and a very believable Rachel and some great cameos from the various fellows. Totally engrossing story which explores the events, character motivations, and repercussions of season 7.

I feel scooped. I had no time recently to keep up with the Kelpie, so I wanted to read it to the end before rec'cing it, and now... well, I guess I can still rec it myself once I finish reading it. Can't harm.

Thank very much for the rec! I read the prologue and the first chapter and loved it! I've saved to read after the finale. I expect I would like it even more in the later chapters. You know, AU and amnesia fics are among my favorite genres.

The prologue totally hooked me :) I love amnesia stories too, and the quality keeps up all story, with Wilson playing a larger part in later chapters. I'm glad you like it :)
